April – The Glenlivet 10K is considered to be the “Most Beautiful Run in Scotland” and is set in delightful Glenlivet in the Cairngorms National Park and based at the legendary Glenlivet Distillery.
August – Scottish Ceilidh Evening offering an evening od Scottish Music with singing, dancing and piping.
August – Glenfarclas Connoisseur’s Tour & Tasting is a tour of the family owned Glenfarclas with an intro to their favourite expressions of Glenfarclas.
August – Elgin Cathedral Tours is a tour of the Cathedral with a chance to meet the “Lady Who Lived In The Ruins”.
August – Aberlour Strathspey Highland Games offers the usual attractions including Pipe Bands, Highland Dancing and Tradional Games.
August – Speyside Stages Rally is Round 6 of the Hankook Tyres Scottish Rally Championship
August – Moray Arts Club Summer Open Exhibition is a platform to showcase your recent artwork.
August – Nethy Bridge Scots Night provides a family entertainment with singing, dancing and piping.
August – Abernethy Highland Games & Clan Grant Rally is the oldest amateur Games in Strathspey.
August – Nairn Highland Games is Nairn’s biggest event. The piping starts and 9.30am and the Highland dancing and athletics take place in the afternoon.
August – Special Gardens Weekend at Cawdor Castle gives guided tours of the stunning gardens at Cawdor Castle with Head Gardener of 30 years Derek Hosie.
August – Grantown-on-Spey Highland Games held at Heathfield Park, Grantown-on-Spey.
September – Moray Marathon is a 3 in 1 running event incorporating the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k road races through the picturesque landscape of Moray.
September – Cawdor Castle Family Fun Open Golf Tournament is a competition on the fantastic 9-hole golf course in the beautiful parkland surrounding the castle.
September – Autumn Speyside Whisky Festival is four days of whisky filled fun in and around Dufftown with distillery visits, bus tours, music events, talks and tastings, a craft fair and a whisky auction.
November – Johnstons of Elgin November Sale has become a Highland institution for those who prefer bargain hunting to deer stalking.
November – The Victorian Xmas Fayre now in its 17th year we will again have the castle decorated throughout with Xmas trees and decorations.
